Overview

eirevo talent are seeking applications for a Wintel Server Engineer, this is a long-term day rate contract in Dublin.

Requirements:

  • Implement, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments (e.g., 2019, 2022), ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, identity services, and resource governance within a hybrid cloud context.
  • Manage and maintain Exchange Online, including User mailbox provisioning and permissions, Distribution groups, shared mailboxes, and resource calendars, Mail flow troubleshooting and message tracing. 
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP, applying industry best practices.
  • Deploy, monitor, and support virtualisation platforms such as Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Support enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions, including both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
  • Provide routine system maintenance, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
  • Assist in the design and delivery of infrastructure enhancement projects.
  • Monitor and support network connectivity, with a working knowledge of core networking protocols and firewall configurations.
  • Administer and maintain SSL certificates across internal and public-facing systems, ensuring renewal schedules, certificate chain integrity, and compliance with security standards.
  • Support and implement cybersecurity best practices, including patching, account controls, vulnerability remediation, endpoint/server hardening, and secure configuration baselines.
