eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for a Senior Project Manager. This is a day rate contractor position located with our client in Dublin. This is hybrid role requiring 2 days on-site per week. The inital duration of this contract is 6 months.
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the successful delivery of a high-profile, multi-stakeholder programme involving significant changes to people, processes, and technology. The role requires strong programme governance expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and proven experience working within public sector and/or EU-funded initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core programme governance deliverables, including the Programme Plan, Risk Register, and Benefits Tracker.
- Support the programme reporting cycle by preparing status reports, board materials, and executive briefings.
- Contribute to change and communications planning, developing materials to support stakeholder engagement across an evolving stakeholder map.
- Liaise with workstream leads to track progress, monitor risks, and ensure benefits realisation.
- Review and interpret EU strategies, plans, and policies, translating them into actionable tasks for the programme team.
- Support finance teams with funding body requests and ensure compliance with EU requirements.
- Ensure programme activities align with deadlines, compliance standards, and procedural benchmarks set by the EU.
- Produce high-quality reports, briefings, and compliance updates for national and EU oversight bodies.
- Represent the Member State in EU-level coordination meetings, workshops, and technical working groups as required.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive programme/project management experience delivering large-scale transformation initiatives (people, process, and technology).
- Background in the public sector and/or EU programmes of work is highly desirable.
- Strong technical project management skills with proficiency in standard PM tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, change management, and benefits realisation.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders at both national and EU level.
- 10–15 years’ experience in programme/project management roles.
