Scrum Master PM
Location : Cork
Duration : 6+ months contract – contract renewed every 3 months
Position Overview:
Drive high-performing agile teams through iterative delivery cycles, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles while maximizing team velocity and product quality. Lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced, collaborative environments focused on continuous improvement and customer value delivery.
Mandatory Skill sets:
- 3+ years Scrum Master/Agile Lead experience with proven track record of successful sprint delivery
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification
- Deep expertise in agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence)
- Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills
- Experience with software development lifecycle and technical project management
Activities to be performed:
- Sprint Leadership: Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews) ensuring timely, focused, and productive sessions
- Team Enablement: Remove impediments, coach team members on agile practices, and foster self-organizing, high-velocity teams
- Stakeholder Management: Bridge communication between product owners, development teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency
- Process Optimization: Continuously refine team processes, implement best practices, and drive adoption of agile tools and methodologies
- Metrics & Reporting: Track sprint metrics, burndown charts, velocity trends, and team performance indicators to drive data-driven improvements
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address project risks, dependencies, and blockers before they impact delivery timelines
