Overview

The Reporting Analyst will play a key role in generating insightful, accurate, and visually compelling reports that support internal operations, commercial performance tracking, and client-facing insights. You will work across multiple business units to deliver timely dashboards using Power BI and Excel, while supporting a culture of continuous improvement through strong data governance and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide key metrics and actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support account management and MSP teams with tailored performance reports
  • Collaborate with operations, commercial, and technical teams to define data requirements
  • Drive automation and efficiency in reporting processes, reducing manual data handling
  • Create presentations and visual reports using Excel and PowerPoint for leadership and client reviews
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data sources, flagging anomalies or trends
  • Help prioritise reporting requests based on business impact and urgency
  • Support ad hoc analysis and reporting projects, delivering clear and concise summaries

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 3 to 4 years’ experience in a reporting, BI, or data analysis role – ideally in a technology or service-based environment
  • Understanding in reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik etc for interactive dashboards and visualisation
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and PowerPoint for business storytelling
  • Strong IT skills and a keen understanding of data structures and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; confident presenting data to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Organised with a high level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines with minimal supervision

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Familiarity with the telecommunications or ICT sector
  • Experience with SQL, DAX, or other data query languages
  • Exposure to CRM and operational platforms (e.g., AutoTask, ServiceNow)
