Overview
eir evo talent are partnering with a leading Facilities Management company in their search for an experienced Project Coordinator, to oversee and manage three simultaneous projects within a live, operational, 4-storey building located in the City Centre. This role ensures seamless coordination of contractors and project schedules while maintaining a functional and safe working environment for staff.
This is for an immediate start, or as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination:
- Oversee three concurrent projects:
- Refurbishment of lifts/elevators.
- Replacement of all air-conditioning systems throughout the building (ongoing).
- Office refurbishment, including carpet replacement, painting, and installation of new blinds (starting 18th or 25th November).
- Coordinate and schedule works to minimize disruptions to the building’s daily operations.
- Oversee three concurrent projects:
- Contractor Management:
- Act as the central point of contact for contractors, ensuring all activities are aligned and no conflicts arise.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure all deliverables are met according to schedule.
- Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all contractors adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff and contractors during the project lifecycle.
- Communication and Administration:
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress.
- Address any arising issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain thorough documentation and project records.
- Good Housekeeping Practices:
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness within the project areas.
- Coordinate additional deliveries and setup requirements as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Proven track record in a similar role within a building or construction environment, ideally in live or occupied premises.
- Multi-Disciplinary Coordination: Expertise in managing diverse services and contractors across various disciplines.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with contractors, stakeholders, and staff.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to schedule and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously without disrupting business operations.
- Health & Safety Knowledge: Solid understanding of Health & Safety practices in a construction or refurbishment environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong housekeeping and administrative skills to maintain high standards throughout the project.
