eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for a Project Manager (Organisational Change). This is a day rate contract position located with our client in Dublin. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days on-site per week. The duration of this contract is 12 months. 

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to support the establishment of a new department within a government organisation. Working closely with the Programme Manager, this role will play a critical part in coordinating multiple workstreams, ensuring effective communication across teams, and engaging with senior stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, is confident in managing complex tasks, and has the interpersonal skills to build strong relationships at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring smooth alignment and progress against programme objectives.
  • Maintain structured project documentation including meeting notes, action logs, and status updates.
  • Follow up diligently on actions, driving accountability and progress across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Programme Manager in planning, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Act as a key point of contact for project coordination, ensuring clarity and momentum on deliverables.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with senior governmental stakeholders, winning trust and engagement to support programme success.
  • Anticipate challenges and escalate risks/issues promptly with recommended solutions.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture within the new department.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in project coordination or management within complex organisations, ideally government, public sector, or large-scale programmes.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach with strong follow-through on actions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, build trust, and gain buy-in from diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Teams, SharePoint, Jira, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Prince2, PMP, Agile, etc.) is an advantage.
