Overview

Eir evo talent has partnered with a Dublin based technology company. We are looking for an experienced IAM Specialist to provide hands-on expertise in managing and securing enterprise identity environments. The role focuses on strengthening directory services, enforcing security controls, and ensuring resilient access management operations across the organisation. This is a contract role based in Dublin for 7 months – office requirement in Dublin 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and enhance identity platforms, including enterprise directory services and modern IAM solutions.
  • Configure and enforce authentication and access policies, including MFA, SSO, and conditional access.
  • Implement and manage security configurations such as certificate services and group policies to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate with cyber defense teams to remediate findings from audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability scans.
  • Manage privileged access platforms and identity lifecycle processes to support least-privilege principles.
  • Use automation and scripting tools to standardise IAM operations and improve efficiency.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with enterprise directory services (e.g., Active Directory, Entra ID / Azure AD).
  • Proven track record implementing IAM security frameworks and controls.
  • Hands-on knowledge of privileged access solutions (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Entra PIM).
  • Familiarity with identity governance models and role-based access control.
  • Ability to troubleshoot identity security issues and resolve operational incidents.
  • Skilled in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, APIs, automation platforms).

Desirable Qualifications

  • Security or cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity & Access Administrator, CISSP, CISM).
  • Experience with cloud IAM services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of identity threat detection and response approaches.
  • Exposure to modern Zero Trust security frameworks.
