Cloud Services Administrator

  • Based with our client out of Castlebar, Co Mayo
  • Garda vetting required for this position

Mandatory Requirements:

  • It is a mandatory requirement that you must have at least 4+ years’ relevant experience. Experience less than 4 years will not be accepted.
  • You must hold a full, current, valid, and clean driving licence and have access to your own transport.
  • You must hold the following qualifications, or equivalent: Level 8 Honours Degree in You must be able to provide copies of these certifications.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
    Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, MS- 500, SC-300, AZ-104) or equivalent demonstrable experience in Microsoft 365 administration and security.
    Professional Diploma in Cyber Security

Experience, Competencies & Skillsets:
 
Communication Skills

  • Communicated clearly and effectively to various stakeholders at different levels, including those from both technical and non-technical backgrounds, including but not limited to, end users such as students, as well as senior management levels. The response should include how the Resource explained issues, problems and solutions in a way that was easily and equally understood by all.

 
Problem Solving Skills

  • Gathered data, conducted risk management project performance and developed problem solving strategies. The Resource should include the methods utilised.

 
Microsoft 365:

  • Security Management: Implement and maintain security features such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and role-based access policies across Microsoft 365 services. Conduct quarterly security reviews to enhance the Microsoft Secure
  • Threat Intelligence & Monitoring: Integrate Microsoft Defender solutions to detect and mitigate threats, including endpoint protection, email security, cloud app visibility, and identity protection.

Compliance & Governance: Implement Information Barriers, Data Classification policies, and ensure compliance with GDPR and Cyber Baseline Standards. Manage Microsoft 365 security features such as Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and encryption.

  • Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage and administer the Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and Intune. Ensure proper role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Windows and Office Management: Manage Windows Imaging and Deployment, oversee Windows and Office updates, and conduct application patch
  • Microsoft Intune & Device Management: Implement Intune for Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM), enforce Conditional Access policies, and manage MFA and Self- Service Password Reset (SSPR).
  • Collaboration & Optimisation: Optimise Microsoft 365 collaboration tools for academic purposes, educate users on security best practices, and automate tasks using Power Platforms and
  • Backup & Recovery: Manage backup and recovery procedures for Microsoft 365, ensuring data security and recoverability. Implement business continuity and disaster recovery
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Provide tier 2/3 support for Office 365 issues, troubleshoot connectivity problems, and maintain up-to-date documentation.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop PowerShell scripts for software rollout, system fixes, and automation
  • Administration & Privileged Identity Management: Conduct admin audits, implement privileged identity management policies, and manage admin roles
  • Continuous Improvement & Azure Management: Stay updated with Microsoft’s Microsoft 365 updates, conduct regular environment reviews, and manage Azure services for data resilience and licensing optimisation.
