Overview
AV & UC IT Support Technician
- Fully onsite Permanent position with our client in Dublin City Centre with occasional visits to other sites in Ireland
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a fast-paced AV/UC, IT Support environments with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure and confidence interacting with senior members of the firm.
Our clients UC Team primarily operates out of two main offices in Dublin City Centre, however there will be a requirement to work outside normal working hours and attend regional offices in Ireland/NI to complete system upgrades and support client events
Ideally you should have experience with:
Meeting Room Technology:
- Monitoring & Administration of all meeting room technology
- Commissioning of new room setups and technology testing
- PM upgrades of existing meeting room tech
- Administration of room booking solution
- Video Conference / Audio Conference & Webinar Support
- Digital Content Support
Telecoms Support
- Administration of IP-based telephone system
- Commissioning of MS Teams EV numbers within our client Offices
Mobile Support
- MS Intune administration and reporting
- iPhone refresh
- Mobile Data Management
- Asset Management

Here is what you can initially expect:
- Ensure proper tracking of equipment and software.
- Creating and maintaining design, testing and implementation documentation.
- Ensure all meeting room equipment is up to date and fully meets the needs of the firm’s critical interoperability requirements.
- Provide 2nd / 3rd level support to the IT Service Desk and ensure all incidents are properly logged and updated with sufficient detail for escalation.
- Receive, log, distribute and follow up on all incidents escalated within IT. Troubleshoot these calls to a satisfactory resolution.
- Document or update processes with the aim of optimising the service provided.
- Maintain inventory of hardware including laptops, desktops and mobile phones.
- Administration and support of the telephone and voicemail systems.
- Support and maintain existing voice and data structured cabling.
- Administration and support of the mobile device fleet (iPhones and iPads).
- Liaise with 3rd party suppliers in relation to UC and hardware issues.
Your Team
The Unified Comms Technician will be a member of our clients Ireland IT organisation and will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation and support of AV and unified communication and collaboration solutions across the firm’s Irish offices.
