eirevo talent are seeking applications for an Enterprise Architect, this is a short-term day rate contract opportunity in Dublin. Ideally someone who can start early January.
  
Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architecture Consultant to help establish a lightweight EA framework and deliver audit-ready documentation for a small-to-medium business with a lean technology team. This role will focus on aligning IT initiatives with business objectives, integrating external provider documentation, and creating governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Framework Selection & Tailoring
    • Select and adapt a recognized EA framework (e.g., TOGAF Lite) suitable for SMB.
    • Define scope and principles for EA implementation.
  • Documentation & Deliverables
    • Develop high-level EA artifacts:
      • Business Capability Map
      • Application Inventory
      • Technology Stack Overview
      • EA Governance Statement
    • Perform a gap analysis between current state (external Managed Service Provider (MSP) Runbook) and target EA framework.
  • Governance Setup
    • Define lightweight EA governance model.
    • Create templates for architecture decisions and review processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Work with Head of Technology and business stakeholders to validate alignment.
    • Integrate external provider documentation (MSP Runbook) into internal EA framework.
  • Audit Response
    • Prepare a professional EA Audit Response Pack for submission to auditors.

 
Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF, Zachman, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of IT strategy and business alignment.
  • Ability to produce audit-ready documentation and governance models.
  • Experience working in SMB environments with limited resources.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
