Overview

eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for a Senior IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex IT projects. This is a day rate contractor position located with our client in Dublin 1. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days on-site per week. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Mobilise and manage the delivery of IT projects from initiation to completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions.
  • Monitor project budgets and provide accurate reporting to stakeholders and finance teams.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Ensure effective communication and visibility of project progress across all stakeholders.
  • Apply recognised project management methodologies and governance processes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, securing resources and managing scope effectively.
  • Oversee vendor and supplier activities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
  • Drive post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Must have 5+ years project management experience within the financial sector. 
  • Proven experience managing IT projects using recognised methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles including budgeting, risk, and resource management.
  • Experience in vendor management and procurement processes; public procurement experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of motivating teams and driving decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams under pressure and deliver results.
