Skills :

  • Ensuring that the established mechanisms for the definition and execution of end-to-end testing, from a system test and UAT perspective, are maintained to ensure an optimum level of test coverage for a diverse set of end-user groups.
  • Demonstrate the capability to use a range of contemporary technologies, including cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure services, to better enable and enhance the delivery of Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) services.
  • Business processes, implemented online services within a client organisation.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate detailed and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of new subject matter involving systems, business processes, and organisational structures such that the knowledge/understanding can be applied in system testing


Key Deliverables :

  • Engage with Systems Development and Teams, business users and future customers to oversee and carry out end-to-end testing of systems (case management and portal) under development and ongoing maintenance of the quality assurance processes to reduce development defects and maintain quality standards.
  •  Responsible for establishing test processes, using JIRA, Testrail and Microsoft Office as tools for management and control of testing.
  • Responsible for the creation of test cases using own in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications (such as reliability, efficiency, usability, maintainability, security, and portability).
  • Create traceability records from test cases back to requirements/specification.
  • Manage/produce test scripts, materials, and regression test packs to test new and amended software or services.
  • Specify requirements for environment, data, resources, and tools.
  • Interpret, execute, and document complex test scripts using agreed methods and standards.
  • Record and analyse actions and results, and maintain a defect register.
  • Review test results and modify tests, if necessary. · Specify test strategies, including overall approach to achieve testing objectives.
  •  Ensure that the quality of software delivered by the development team is evidenced before acceptance into UAT.
  • Provide reports on progress, anomalies, risks, and issues associated with the overall project.
  • Report on system quality and collects metrics on test cases.
  •  Provide specialist advice to support others.
  • Develop excellent documentation providing clear direction to support User Acceptance Testing to meet requirements.

 
Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
