Overview
eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for an experienced Business Analyst in the area of Cybersecurity. This is a day rate contractor position located with our client in Dublin. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week required onsite. This is an initial 6 month engagement with possible extensions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with key stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct analysis of PEN test results and Red Team findings, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending appropriate remediation actions in line with SMEs.
- Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to implement security enhancements and ensure ongoing protection of data assets.
- Support the development and implementation of an effective Data Security Platform, ensuring it meets organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Track and monitor remediation progress, providing regular updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Develop clear and concise reports, presentations, and documentation to support decision-making and compliance reporting.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive security improvements.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging security threats.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, IT, or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably in a security-focused environment.
- Ideally a strong knowledge of security frameworks, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
- Experience working in a semi-state, government, or highly regulated environment is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools, data security technologies, and reporting frameworks.
Desirable Skills & Certifications:
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
- Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum.
