Overview
eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for a Test Analyst. This is a 6 month daily-rate contract position located with our client in Dublin. Hybrid options available.
Job Description:
- Applicants must have 4-6 years of substantial professional experience in their specialized field.
- Deliver QA services within the agreed time and coverage boundaries to required standard to ensure that business priorities are met.
- Ensure that Quality Assurance policies and processes are followed, reviewed and enhanced.
- Support stakeholders in ensuring the optimum use of quality assurance principles in ensuing that fit for purpose solutions are delivered to production.
- Understand complex testing requirements and translate into effective test solutions.
- Collaborate with the development team to support an automation first approach to testing.
Experience/Competencies/Skillsets
Experience of effective industry standard approaches to Quality Assurance planning, execution and reporting:
- Ensure that the client’s IT Quality assurance policies and procedures are followed and agree and document any exceptions to standard roles and responsibilities. Understand complex testing requirements and translate them into good quality test solutions in a consistent, timely and easily understandable manner.
Project Planning & Management:
- Work with the Product owner to agree priorities, size undertakings from a QA perspective and develop initiative plans. Ensure the monitoring of these plans and the communication of any changes.
Development Environment Management:
- Ensuring that test environments are maintained to prioritise consistency, allow thorough testing, and support effective test data management thus ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
Quality Assurance process review and improvement:
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the delivery approach and communicate these through the appropriate forums (retrospectives and after-action reviews). Collaborate with other members of team where required to implement these solutions.
Effective communication and influencing skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure that there is a full understanding of the items under consideration. Support and guide business users in maturing and improving the consistency and effectiveness of the UAT process.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 1G/4 Visa to apply.
