Azure DevOps Engineer

Hybrid day rate Contract with our Dublin City based client.

 
Mandatory

  • Experience: Equivalent of 4-6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer working with Microsoft Azure.
  • Qualification: A Degree in IT.

 
Key Deliverables 

  • Design, implement, and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) or Bicep templates.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed and compliance requirements are met.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration within the development and ICT infrastructure teams and provide training and mentoring as needed.

 
Experience, Competencies & Skillsets

You must have worked on at least 2 significant projects in the last 5 years that demonstrate that you have experience of:

  • Azure DevOps Services, including pipelines, boards, repos, artifacts and Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity management.
  • Implementation and management of CI/CD processes for different types of applications (e.g., web apps, microservices, databases).
  • Experience with various build and release management tools and practices.
  • Experience automating deployment processes, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management using scripting languages and tools.
  • Management of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, or Bicep.
  • Management monitoring and logging solutions to track application performance, security, and availability.
  • Resolution of complex technical issues related to builds, deployments, and infrastructure.
