News: ResultsCX Ireland announces the creation of 200 new jobs by 2025

eir evo talent: The company has not revealed the departments in which the new jobs will be based however, it has been stated that there will be a focus on multilingualism, with positions in Spanish, German and French to be opened up.

ResultsCX Ireland, a customer experience management company (CXM), has today (29 July) announced the creation of 200 new jobs. This follows the recent doubling of its workforce to 300 people. The company aims to bring the number of Ireland-based employees up to 500 people by early next year.

The US multinational has its Irish headquarters in Co Cork and supports banking, financial services and insurance, technology, telecoms, digital media and utility companies across EMEA, APAC and North America.

News: Cork payments company Trustap raises €5.1m in funding

Cork-based payments company Trustap has raised $5.5 million in funding to help drive product growth as the company expands overseas.

The Series A round of funding was led by TX Ventures, with co-investment by a number of new investors including SeedX, Partners Resolute and Aperture. Existing investors MiddleGame Ventures, Act and Atlantic Bridge also participated in this round, alongside FurthrVC.

The Cork-headquartered company provides an end-to-end digital transaction platform to give buyers and sellers peace of mind for transactions, both online and face to face.

The new funding will allow the company, which aims to tackle the lack of trust between buyers and sellers in peer-to-peer transactions, to expand its product offering.

News: Liberty IT expanding operations with new Galway premises

eir evo talent: The company already have a presence in Galway and this news only strengthens their commitment there. There are no open roles for Galway at the moment but we would expect this will change as they plan to fill this new office space.

Software company Liberty IT has announced plans to open a new office in Galway city centre in the coming months.

Liberty IT develops technologies exclusively for its parent company, Liberty Mutual Insurance. The company currently has three locations around the island of Ireland – in Belfast, Dublin and Galway – employing more than 650 people.

Since establishing its first premises in the west in 2023, with the PorterShed location in Galway city, Liberty IT has generated 35 new jobs and is actively recruiting for additional roles in software engineering, data engineering, data science, and product and design.

News: ZeroMission raises €2.8m to drive electric vehicle fleet management platform

eir evo talent: The company are hiring a full stack e ngineer role and while this funding is not directly tied to growth we would imagine a significant portion will be directed there as they build out their team.

Tipperary-based ZeroMission has raised $3 million (€2.8 million) to grow its vehicle fleet management platform and expand its business in Europe and the US as the company seeks to boost adoption of electric vehicles.

The round was co-led by Delta Partners, which invests in early stage start-ups in Ireland, and pan-European venture capital company Greencode, with Vireo and angel investors also participating. The funding will be used to boost product development and expand ZeroMission’s commercial reach.

News: Irish data processing fintech secures €3.5m in funding for European expansion

eir evo talent: CreditLogic plans to add 15 full-time roles in AI, data science, engineering, and sales and marketing as part of its expansion. We would imagine some of these roles will be hired in Ireland while others may be hired in other geographies.

Irish bank data processing group CreditLogic has raised another €3.5 million, that it intends to use to accelerate its expansion across Europe.

This brings €8.5 million the amount raised by the business since it was set up five and a half years ago. Founded by Eddie Dillon and Gavin Bennett, its investors include Barry Maloney, chairman of WorkHuman and formerly of Balderton Capital and Esat Digifone, David Roche, previously chief executive of hotels.com, former DCC boss Tommy Breen and Enterprise Ireland.

News: Irish blockchain company Binarii to create 100 new jobs

eir evo talent: The new jobs will include roles in specialist deep tech research and development, data security, tech and customer support, and marketing and business development. It will be interesting to see the level of hiring and location in the coming months.

The start-up provides a range of services including secure end-to-end document management and assistance in migrating to distributed ledger technology (DLT) infrastructure. It will use the funding to support its R&D plans and grow the international demand for BinariiDSP, its patented data security platform. The service enables SMEs to protect, own and control personal and stakeholder data, without the need for a third-party data storage provider.

News: Solidroad, founded by former Intercom employees, raises $1.2m

eir evo talent: The latest funding will help Solidroad expand its team and invest in product development. We would imagine hiring will still be relatively slow as they grow but we would expect to see some roles open in the next while.

Solidroad, a Dublin-based AI start-up founded by former Intercom employees, has raised $1.2m to scale its enterprise training platform.

Founded by CEO Mark Hughes and CTO Patrick Finlay last year, Solidroad employs AI technology to create immersive training experiences for customer-facing teams in companies. Some of its clients include Ryanair, Three Mobile and ActiveCampaign.

News: Motorola Solutions to create 200 jobs at Cork R&D centre

eir evo talent: This will create significant demand in Cork. The exact nature of the roles are not yet clear though the company do have 30 roles opens with a number of engineering roles looking for skills in Python, C++, Android, DevOps as well as other roles in Product and design

Motorola Solutions is opening a new research and development centre in Cork, which is expected to lead to the creation of up to 200 jobs.

The R&D centre will focus on designing software for the company’s land mobile radio (LMR) products, with plans for expansion across other technologies in the future.

LMR networks are used by governments and organisations for highly secure communications and are designed to work in the most extreme conditions.

News: Slalom to create 300 tech jobs in next 3 to 5 years

eir evo talent: The new roles will be in key growth areas including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Salesforce, Data Analytics, Business Advisory Services, and AI-enabled Change. We would expect these hires to come from a mixture of services industries and technology companies and will create a pull on the market.

Global business and technology consulting company Slalom said it plans to create 300 new jobs in Ireland in the next three to five years.

Slalom’s Irish operation, its eight international market, was established a year ago, and expects to have 60 employees by the end of the year.

The company recently signed a lease on Waterways House in Dublin’s Digital Docklands.

News: EQT to buy Keywords Studios in £2.2 billion deal

eir evo talent: It will be worth monitoring this story to see the potential talent impact and how the company looks to grow and reach further success. They do have some local roles open and this move could lead to greater hiring or restructuring.

Dublin-based video game services group Keywords Studios has agreed to a bid worth £2.2 billion from European private equity firm EQT, saying today it saw significant growth opportunities under EQT’s ownership.

London-listed Shares in Keywords rose 2.9% to 2,384 pence in early trade.

Keywords said it would recommend shareholders accept the 2,450 pence per share cash bid, which is priced at a 66.7% premium to the firm’s last close on May 17, before the two companies first said they were in bid talks.

eir evo talent: This is a significant hiring project and will create a pull on the local talent pool. They are actively hiring and will continue to do so as they fill these roles. They have used Java previously in the majority of their work and we would imagine this will continue.

Bank of Ireland has today (1 July) announced the creation of 100 new technology jobs to work on projects such as cloud, open banking, APIs, AI and emerging technologies.

Professionals in data, delivery management, engineering, and resilience and cyber are required to support the development of customer features on digital channels, fraud protection and advanced data analytics.

News: Dublin-based Learnosity announces creation of 20 new jobs

eir evo talent: The company are actively hiring at the moment and the nature of these roles will appeal to many candidates.

Dublin-headquartered edtech company Learnosity has unveiled plans to create more than 20 high-value R&D roles, as it launches a new AI Labs Initiative aimed at driving innovation in the edtech space.

The company has said it is looking to hire a range of data scientists, product managers, prompt engineers and full-stack software engineers to work on operationalising the potential of AI development.

News: Google plans major data centre expansion in Dublin

eir evo talent: While haveing a number of opponents this move will create more employment directly and continues to embed Google in Ireland which may lead to further growth in the company’s presence here across other areas.

Google is planning to extend its data centre operations in Ireland, with an expansion of its existing centre in Dublin.

The company wants to build a 72,400sq m data storage facility at its Grange Castle site in Dublin 22, which will include data halls, offices, staff facilities and other support services. The application also includes the creation of a new active travel route to connect Grange Castle Business Park South and Profile Park Road. The plans have been published in the national press.

This will bring to three the number of data centres at the Grange Castle site, which officially opened in 2016. It houses servers that run some of Google’s main products including Gmail, Google Maps and its search engine.
